Lock up all my blues, I need a place to hide
Erase things from my memory, and let some feelings slide
For all the miles walking I keep love by my side
And the things I drop while running, give me strength to tow the line
I search for the words to tell myself there’s nothing wrong
I pray to the light to help come guide me through this world
I watch for the signs that light the path that I am on
My wish is my lift and all that I can become
When I’m tired and I’m weary, and my eyes no longer see
That this business we call living, is solely up to me
Today is worth forever, It’s the only treasure we possess
We can spend our lifetimes fighting, or we can live in happiness
I search for the words to make the world a better place
I pray to the light to help come guide us through this world
I preach of the signs that light the path that we are on
My wish is the world, and all that we can become
Free from all the blue, this path in life is mine
As I turn to face the source of life, so grateful for my time
Silence is the answer, where I find my peaceful heart
I feel the power in the passion play, that shows me where to start
I search for the words to make the world a better place
